I tried the Rare Beauty eye patches

I was in Sephora, wasting time while traveling. We have already established previous that is a bad idea, but alas there I was. I noticed that box and decided to pick up the Rare Beauty Hydrating Under Eye Patches. I had not tried any face products from the brand previously, so this what my way in.

Instead of the flexible gel patches most brands use, these are cloth. And coated with little metallic logos.

I like that the shape of them stays where I want eye products to go. Often eye masks curve to aggressively to fit my eye shape. I end up with more product on my cheeks than my undereye area. Or I feel like I am jabbing myself in the eye with a very soft sharp corner as I try to situate the mask on my face. These fit me well, and the masks stayed in place and didn’t slide down.

The negative for me was the most important. I didn’t find that they moisturized my eyes. I put them on while I was getting stuff done in the morning and didn’t notice a positive change. Again, if you have been following this space for a while, I have dry skin. I have to be pickier when it comes to hydrating products. This didn’t leave me hydrated.

I don’t foresee myself repurchasing these. But you should definitely try this out for yourself to see if you like them. It could very well be that the ingredients are most beneficial for those who are dealing with puffiness, and not so much to help with dryness. Or if you just want a cute eye mask to wear as you put on your make up for the day and aren’t looking for results, this might be helpful for you.
