It’s happened, at last. Dyson, following the viral success of its supersonic and air wrap. hair dryers, Dyson has released haircare products. The rollout includes prestyle creams and post style serums. Both include options for straight to wavy and curly to coily formulations, as well as a light or rich option. The products all feature Chitosan, an ingredient derived from oyster mushrooms. 

Here is a very important call-out. Yes, this a haircare product put out by a brand making hair dryers. But no, this does not offer any heat protection.You might say that is a miss, but I would say it falls in line with how Dyson markets its products. Their tools are specifically engineered to have lower heat and yield healthier hair over time. But they should provide better hold. By not providing heat protectant, they are standing by that assertion.

I personally have never used a Dyson hair dryer. I would be curious how these products are received by faithful users and others interested in haircare products more generally.
