I showed up to Minneapolis to attend a conference for work. I was not at all excited about the location chosen, but I went anyway. I apologize Minneapolis, you are beautiful in the late spring and early summer.
I sat next to a fellow diner, in town for 24 hours, who eagerly soaked up everything you had to offer. His whirlwind of experiences, left me thinking I should rework my itinerary.
The weather was pleasant, not at all like the harsh winter you’re known for. From my hotel, I went on a walking journey to discover what was nearby. There were multiple restaurants and the waterfront and coffee shops with so much personality. Had I had time to, I would have walked across the bridge and seen even more.
I have to admit that Minneapolis wasn’t on my must see cities list before, but I would definitely come back to explore a little more.
