Sigh, I hate when products go viral. Mostly because, I have this thing about not wanting to appear to be just going with the crowd. But I have to admit, the Dior Lip Oil is popular for a reason. As someone who is perpetually on the hunt for products for my perpetually dry lips, I started trying this out before the popularity peaked and keep coming back.
I enjoy that it leaves my lips well-conditioned for hours. It doesn’t just cling to chapped areas. It improves it. The applicator is quite large, which was off putting at first, but it works. Even though it is described as an oil, it is actually kind of sticky. Now after finishing (and thankfully never using) the first one mahogany, I have finally replaced the product with the new pink lilac color. Both leave a very subtle wash of color.

Dior Lip Oil $40
Is it an oil? Is it a gloss? Either way it soothes dry lips while enhancing your lip color
The downside, which could be very specific to me. I left this in my car as an emergency lip product. The product rested on its side and definitely had some leakage. I would suggest not storing it laying it flat, unless you want your surfaces to be sticky. Alternatively, it could just be that you shouldn’t leave in a hot car. Both could be true.
Is it expensive as far as lip products go? Yes, but at least it’s worth it. If you have tried every product out there for your dry lips, it might be time to try this one, too. If you do, let me know what your experience is.
