I needed a fragrance that whispered, “Summer is finally here.” In walks Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue for women. A soft citrusy fragrance for those who are fragrance shy. It is citrus without screaming, “I am a lemon!,” and a perpetual classic for a reason. It is well rounded and refreshing.

Rather than casting its lack of projection as a weakness, I will consider it as a suitable option who want a lighter fragrance for the summer. Personally, I sprayed this fragrance on yesterday evening, and can still smell it on my wrist. It isn’t loud, but that isn’t what

Or personally at any time of the year, I would classify this as a post shower fragrance, a scent for you when you want to smell nice right then and there after cleansing but don’t have a need to smell good long after that moment. Or perhaps you are just getting into fragrance or will be heading into a space where people are sensitive to fragrances.

Also, while there are different versions for men and women, I don’t smell anything in this version that reads so classically feminine. If you tend towards masculine fragrances, I would suggest you try both versions and see which you prefer. Because the men’s version includes patchouli and rosemary, you might actually prefer this version for the summertime heat.

If you check reviews, one of the reasons the fragrance gets low marks is because it isn’t long lasting. People feel the need to respray it constantly. The other reason is that they just don’t like the smell. For that reason, I would say, make sure you try it for yourself. Even though I like it, it stays on my skin, and it works with my chemistry doesn’t mean the same for you. Be sure to get yourself a sample before investing in a full bottle. (But of course, that is my advice for all fragrances.)
