Quick and unfair thoughts on the Augustinus Bader Eye Cream

Over the course of three weeks, I tried out the Augustinus Bader Eye Cream. And you know what, I wasn’t amazed. But before you take that as the review, let’s get some context.

The Eye Serum

$225 for 15 mL

Targeted solution for eyes, using the brands patented TFC8

AB touts these as the key benefits of the cream. You will notice reduced appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, undereye puffiness, and dark circles You will also notice plumper, firmer, and brighter skin. I think it is important note that those weren’t my concerns. My biggest concerns are undereye darkness that is due to hyperpigmentation. Not wrinkles, or fine lines, or undereye bags. To be honest, I didn’t get what I was looking for, but they never promised they’d give it to me.

Now, what I did like about this product is that it didn’t irritate my eyes are the skin around them. And it moisturized the area. So, this was great as just a moisturizer for the delicate undereye area.

If you are interested in this product, I would suggest you first take some time to really nail down what your under eye concerns are. And then, take a look at the product page and evaluate if this will address your concerns. If you think it will, then go ahead and try it. Also, if you just want to feel superbougie and have a luxury skincare moment, then you should try this, too. But if you are really just trying to reduce the hyper pigmentation around your eyes, this won’t be the best product for you.
