My first introduction to the brand Hotel Chocolat was a review of their velvetiser. It was contraption promising the silkiest hot chocolate you’ll ever have in your life. I looked on, wanting one of my own. But based on the name, I was even more intrigued by the idea of a chocolate themed hotel. Now, a couple of years later, I’ve got my answer. It does exist. And you can experience it for yourself.
Rabot Hotel Saint Lucia is the real Hotel Chocolat, nestled deep in the forest. The activities include a bean to bar experience, giving you first hand experience in the fullness of the chocolate development process. The drink and food menu fully embraces cacao throughout. The spa treatments use various parts of the cacao pod. And of course, there is in room chocolate.
I have not visited this place myself yet, but it is definitely on my wish list. If you would rather expand beyond just eating your chocolate bar and get a full experience, maybe it should be on your wish list as well.
