Quick announcement Vogue, the beloved fashion media brand, has an amazing opportunity for high school students interested in fashion. With the Conde Nast College of Fashion and Design, the brand is offering a summer program to support the interests of the young and creative. The program takes place over two terms in June and July and has bases in New York and London. Students will learn about design, media, and styling, all while also experiencing first hand key fashion locations in the city. While the other kids are making friendship bracelets, these teenagers could learn techniques to upgrade those bracelets and make them “fashion.”
This seems like and amazing experience that younger me would have loved, but I don’t know if I would have been able to take part. The price for a one month term, including room and board is just over $7000. There is financial aid available, but that deadline has already passed for the 2024 program.
But if you know of any 15-18 year old who is interested in fashion, pass this along. Or help them start getting a jump on their application now to make it in for the priority deadline and financial aid window for 2025.
