After a few days of use, here are my first impressions of the Sisleÿa L’Integral Eye & Lip Contour Cream. This is undeniably a luxury skincare product and is formulated to target puffiness and signs of aging.

$255 for 15 mL
The cream is thick and rich, much richer than I was expecting. I found that I needed to make sure I took a little bit and warmed it between my fingers before applying. I didn’t like just applying it straight to my undereye without doing that, because I felt I needed to work it into my skin, i.e. rub it into my skin. Depending on your skin tone, if you are not mindful of that, you will see a little bit of white residue. For that reason, and because it is so thick, personally I would reserve this as a night cream. Unless of course, that is exactly what you are looking for.
After a few days, I can’t really speak to results other than well moisturized skin. However the brand claims this cream addresses three causes of skin aging- Environmental, genetic, and lifestyle. The brand lists three key ingredients to address these issues. The atlas cedar extract and fermented pomegranate extracts work on the undereye circles, and passion fruit extract should address the puffiness.
From my quick research Atlas cedar has an astringent action, meaning it tightens blood vessels. This is likely what helps with the blue undereye circles. Fermented Pomegranate and passion fruit extracts are antioxidant rich (read help address oxidative stress on the skin) and likely why they say it addresses the environmental stressors. The vitamin c in these products may help with hyperpigmentation undereye over time. But as good as these ingredients are, it will take a while to see the results. However, I would say that you might notice results sooner from the product’s top ingredients. Glycerin, shea butter, and vitamin e will help with moisture while caffeine, which should reduce puffiness.
This product might be your you if you thick rich formulas for your eye creams. And personally, I found it didn’t irritate my eyes or undereye skin. I’m not going to claim this product is definitely good for sensitive skin, but it might be. And finally, if you are looking for an anti-aging undereye product without retinol, this could be for you. But beyond all that, if you are bougie and love to indulge in luxury, this is the product for you to try.
