After a week of playing with this scent, I can speak to my thoughts on Nest’s Wild Poppy. It is floral. I can’t really place it or come up with a good comparison. Nest classifies this as a fruity floral, with notes of raspberry, pear, and rose. My basic nose got none of that, just flower.

Wild Poppy Travel Spray
$32 for 8 mL
Notes: Rose de Grasse, Himalayan jasmine, pear, raspberry, and apricot.
I don’t find it projects of me very much. I also didn’t get any comments about this one from all the people I was around, and that included some sensitive noses. The results might be different in other formulations, but I have this in a rollerball filled with the fragrance oil. It is harder to overapply, I find, with that method.
This is not a scent I would find myself gravitating towards, but it smells nice. I would use it in those situations when I, forgive me for repeating, just want to smell nice. Not for any special occasions, not for any particular purpose, but just to smell nice going about my everyday life, like to work and the grocery store. (I need to get out more.)
If you like floral scents and want to try out fragrance oils, give this one a try. I am going to keep playing with this scent to see if I can pick on the notes in it.
