Let’s compare two of Supergoop’s more hydrating sunscreens

I was a faithful user of the Supergoop Superscreen sunscreen. But as you can tell from this blog, I am constantly looking for new products to try that work well my dry skin type. My curiosity led me to try the brand’s Every. Single. Face. As I will be comparing the two throughout this post, I will be abbreviating Superscreen to SS and Every. Single. Face. to ESF, just to make my life easier.

SS is in a tub, where you have to dip your fingers. ESF is in a squeeze bottle with a twist top. It gets bonus points for being slimmer and taking up less space in my travel bag. However, it loses points because it is harder to make sure I get every single drop out of it. I made it my mission to scrape the SS tub dry and get all the sunscreen I could.

I personally find that both products give that, “Are you wearing sunscreen look,” but Supergoop definitely comes across as greasier. I also did a comparison between ESF and the Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Sunscreen. You could definitely tell the differences as the ESF side was definitely glowier/shinier.

But packaging and finish aside, here are more of the other differences you should note.

Personally, I could see myself alternating between the two. Over skincare, ESF works well for me, but I might reserve it as a more summer ready product. Superscreen might be better for me during the cold and dry months. Honestly thought, I think they work well enough for me just go for whichever happens to be in stock in store that day. If you err on the side of oilier skin, you might prefer Every.Single.Face. Drier skin types might prefer Superscreen.

Of course, I’m biased. Supergoop is a brand that I have come to trust and keep coming back to. I’m looking forward to trying more of the brand’s products over time.
