My favorite skincare of 2023- The two items I will definitely repurchase

I tried a lot of skincare this year. These are the items I really enjoyed.

Florence by Mills- Swimming Under The Eyes Brightening Gel Pads

$12 for a pack of three pairs at Target

$36 for a lot on the Florence by Mills site

I am not going to lie to you. Part of the reason why I am going to buy more of this is simply because they are just adorable. Come on, the litte whales? Is that not cute? The second reason is that is a less expensive way for my to indulge myself with skincare. Now, I have no idea whether or not it truly brightens skin over time, and honestly, I don’t really care. I’m just looking for a quick spa moment. Bonus is that with its colors and marketing, it makes a great entry way for teens to get into skincare in a less intimidating way.

Shiseido Refreshing Cleansing Sheets

$20 for 30 sheets

This was the cleansing wipe of my dreams. No alcohol smell. No harshness that feels like it is burning my skin to clean it. It was just a gentle clean that got the job done removing simple dirt and grime (maybe not makeup).I have included it as part of my travel arsenal for those times when I needed to be careful in regards the water situation. And I will continue to keep it on hand for after gym refreshing or for when I can’t be bothered to wash my face because I am just that tired.

As a wild card, I will throw in the Cle de Peau Enhancing Eye Contour Cream Supreme

$280 for 15 mL

This rich eye cream made a difference in my undereye area in the one month that I used it. However, I’m pulling away from using retinols and personally may not repurchase it. But I will include it here because it did its job.

I could keep this going, but we have a-whole-nother year to come with many more skincare reviews in the future.
