Orpheon by Diptyque smelled floral and powdery to me. If I were to imagine it as a piece of clothing, I am calling to mind a button-up white cotton blouse with puffed short sleeves. It doesn’t smell young; it doesn’t smell innocent. It definitely calls to mind feminine maturity and self-assuredness. I found it to have moderate staying power and moderate projection.
Diptyque refers to it as a fragrance of the night, and ode to a classic bar. Wearing it again, I could see it as being sultry, without being vulgar, and a good option for an evening out.
