The Loewe x Suna Fujita collaboration is just the whimsy I need this holiday season

I saw a picture of the Loewe bag and smiled. Stitched into the material is an image of a child hanging from a tree with a panda at his fit. Together the pair helped to make the O of Loewe font embroidered on to the tote. It was so whimsical and fun, exactly what the collaboration was intended to be.

The bag is a part of collaboration between Loewe and the Japanese ceramic studio, Suna Fujita. This limited edition holiday collection features designs based on childhood. Collection includes characters, such as pandas, penguins, and lemurs lifted from the work of the artists, Shohei Fujita and Chisato. Loewe picked the designs it liked the best to include in their classic pieces and new creations, while the design duo came in towards the end to add refining touches.

In keeping with the focus on childhood, proceeds from the collection will go to support just that. Loewe will donate a portion of the sales from this collection to Save the Children’s Education in Emergencies program. As written by Loewe on the collection site, the initiative “works to guarantee safe learning environments for children in humanitarian crisis situations around the world.”

It appears all of the pieces are still available to order on Loewe site. Have a look for yourself.
