I am going to be honest about what I thought about this SkinFix moisturizer

Have you ever been really excited to try a product thinking it was the solution you were looking for, only to discover, no it is most certainly not? I have, and clearly I am not wasting any time telling you how I felt about the SkinFix Triple Lipid Barrier Cream. I didn’t like it.

Because I had small container, I decided to take it with me in my travel bag and let it me the moisturizer for my short trip. Wooo. Maybe the first time using it should not have been on a work trip, where I wanted to look and feel my best. The cream is soft, nowhere near as thick as I was hoping. I put it on at night and awakened to a dry forehead. And slowly throughout the morning I noticed more dry patches across other parts of my face. I had to improvise and use some shea butter hand cream to salvage my face before heading out in public.

At home, I tried to give it more chances. But it continued to disappoint me. It didn’t work into the skin if I tried to apply more to get more moisture. It was like it was just sliding around on the top of my skin. Sometimes I noticed my face was stinging when I put it on. Then I tried putting on the Dr Jart+ Cicapair Treatment Lotion first. Even that didn’t save me from the irritation. Finally, the one day I like the way my skin looked and felt with this product was when I applied a thick serum first. Then my skin finally looked moisturized, but the serum had done all of the work. In other words, it only performed well for me was when it had no job to do.

It was not good for me, but I have dry skin, and the weather here is only getting colder and drier. If you have oily skin and/or live in a more humid climate, this might be great for you.  Me personally, I won’t be using it again, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t give it a try if it might fit your needs.
