Do you like learning about fashion? Are you also planning a trip to Atlanta? If the answer is yes, you should definitely add the SCAD FASH Museum of Fashion to your itinerary. This museum is located on the Atlanta campus of the Savannah College of Art and Design. It is a must see for its rotating exhibits on major players in the fashion industry.
I had the chance to see the current exhibits on The Blonds, a fashion duo known for their over the top glamorous designs, and Ellen Von Unwerth, a photographer known for her risqué fashion prints. If you can, I recommend arranging a tour so you can learn even more details about the works. The tour guide pointed out details in The Blonds exhibits that I wouldn’t have leaned otherwise, the sheer weight of the embellished designs and which celebrities wore the pieces on stage.
