I don’t think enough people are talking about how beautiful the Langham Hotel Boston is

I walked into the lobby of the Langham Hotel in Boston after toting my luggage around with me throughout the city. I casually plopped myself down on one of their modernly elegant chairs. I looked around me, and it was like a fairytale.

Or maybe it would be more appropriate to call it a children’s book. They were celebrating Paddington bear after all. He even had his own pink tent set up there in the lobby. (Families with children (or maybe without) could book a Paddington themed stay, if they wanted to extend the magic.)

In my opinion, the lobby of a hotel frames how you perceive the rest of your overall experience at the hotel. Let me tell you this. They had exceptional framing. As I mentioned, the lobby was indeed grand, but let’s talk about the art.

The Langham Hotel in Boston is by far the most beautiful hotel I have had the pleasure to stay at so far. But beyond the architecture and interior design, they have also invested heavily into artwork throughout the building. There is a dedicated art gallery to the left of the front desk, but it doesn’t stop there. There is art pretty much everywhere. The hotel has a dedicated webpage to allow you to explore and learn more about what you will find in the main spaces, and offer a self-guided tour of the gallery.

That artistic attention to detail continues throughout the hallways, with each floor appearing to have a theme or feature a particular artist. I will add that I noticed the floor that houses the gym included sport related works. I hope that was intentional.

Even if you never book a room at the Langham, I highly recommend you at the very least walk through the building to take in its beauty. Personally, I hope come back to enjoy it once again soon.
