LoveShackFancy has a new romantic fragrance

LoveShackFancy is known for its cute, vintage inspired, romantic styles. Their recent fragrance release echoes that aesthetic in fragrance form. In fact, if you close your eyes and smell their Forever in Love eau de parfum, you can almost smell the satin bows.

I would classify this as a fruity floral. And if I were to classify the type of person to wear it, I would say carefree and soft natured. It has a playful innocent essence, which could make it a good first fragrance for a teen or a rotating staple for someone who older but youthfully romantic at heart.

Forever in Love eau de parfum

$125 for 75 mL

Key Notes: Green Pear, Cedarwood, Gardenia

The fragrance is so soft and doesn’t at all enter into the bitter territory that many synthetic fruity fragrances have done for me. After hours of wear, the scent is so faint that I’m not sure if sure I would say it had much longevity on me at all. I found it didn’t project on me. But on the bright side after 5 sprays across myself, it didn’t trigger the anger of my fragrance averse companion.

While it doesn’t smell exactly like them, this seems to fit into the same circles as Carolina Herrera Good Girl Glam and Victor & Rolf Ruby Orchid. Similar in the sense of it being a fruity, but nowhere near the level of depth or staying power. Perhaps if you like fragrances like that, this might be a good one to try, especially if you want something fruity but more subtle.

Of course, if you just like playfully feminine fragrances, this might be the one to try.
