A few things to discover while walking through Boston

Downtown Boston is extremely walkable. And you will be happy to discover there are some options you’ll encounter on your walk that will truly enhance your journey.

Public Art on the Greenway: This is a collection of sculptures throughout the city. Mind you, when I it into the GPS, it led me to the sculpture depicted here, but there are even more. As you go about your walk, keep vigilant to see what more you find

Harbor Walk: You could of course book a ticket on a cruise to set sail and really look at the water and potentially spot some whales. However, you could also just walk all the way around the harbor and learn about the history as you go.

Boston Holocaust Memorial: Of course, it is not lighthearted, but it does provide a serious reflection. As I walked through the glass structure, I noted the inscriptions of all the numbers assigned to victims. Mist was continuously rising to call to mind the horror that happened. I recommend you allow yourself the space and time to fully experience this memorial. Beyond just having the room in your schedule to walk through, make sure that you are in the mental space to experience the exhibit.

Of course, there are museums and experiences galore throughout the city, but, these free and outdoor options are perfect additions to your itinerary as you go about exploring the city.
