If you choose to stay at the Dreams Macao resort, you likely have your mind set on enjoying time a the beach or sitting by the pool. These are great ideas. But there is so much more you could do. I’m going to tell you what I did on my stay there and give you some more ideas of what you could plan to do yourself.

Like you, I definitely chose to spend some time on the beach and in the ocean. The sand and the waves is a great draw. The resort has beach chairs out, there is a swing you play on or just use to get photos. If you book preferred club rates, you also have access to a seating area that is further back from the crowds, and I think is more comfortable.

Then of course you could spend time at the pool. Again, there is a pool that is solely for those on preferred club stays. The area had a bar, I even noticed food deliveries made to some of the people hanging there. There was larger pool open to everyone. It had a swim up bar and was next to a grill where they made a larger seafood spread. On top of your free activites, they sometimes held aqua dance classes. These were held in the shallow water, so it was not quite like aqua aerobics.

The best part which was hidden away was the water park. This featured a lazy river and massive water slides. Trust me, the adults were enjoying themselves fully and went down the slides multiple times.

But let’s say you don’t want to be in the water at all. You could go of course go to the on-site gym. But truthfully, nighttime will be your time to shine. There was a sports bar that had a pool table. TThe lobby was a hub of activity with its large seating area and bar. It was also the meeting point for people who were getting transportation into the city for nightlife.

The resort also offered a schedule of activities sent to you daily by the concierge. I didn’t partake in any of the daytime activities. At night, however, I performed Spice Girls during the karaoke slot and was intrigued by the magic show. (I still don’t know how he did it.)

And of course, you could also plan your wedding there and give your guests multiple things to do yourself.
