Armani Beauty launches a loyalty program

If you are fan of the beloved Luminous Silk Foundation, Power Matte lipsticks, or any of the other fine beauty products from Armani, you are in luck. Recently, as in within the last week, Armani beauty launched its loyalty program, the Armani Signature VIP Program. This new membership program rewards loyal shoppers with 10 points on every dollar spent and additional points for participating in activities on the site.

The Signature VIP Program is broken into three tiers. The red tier (0-2,999) points), the gold tier (3,000-5,999 points) and the black tier (6,000 points and above). Members in each tier receive a gift on signup, a birthday gift each year, as well as access to exclusive events. As you move up the tiers the exclusivity of the benefits increases.

This move comes after the launch of Dior’s My Exclusive Loyalty Program over a year ago now. And of course, within the beauty space, I would be remiss to not mention the powerhouse programs that are the Sephora Beauty Insider and Ulta Beauty Ultimate Rewards loyalty programs. While loyalty programs provide benefits to members, they might be even more valuable to the company.

Essentially loyalty programs, are a way for cusotmoers to identify themselves and allow companies to get a better idea of who their shoppers are. And of course, loyalty programs encourage you to buy more by rewarding you for every purchase you make. I can’t lie, I personally been in the “If I just make one more purchase, I will move up levels” predicament before. I’m looking at you Delta.

I have never purchased from the Armani Beauty site before, but I am curious to learn more about the program.
