To me, Cartier’s Baiser Volé smells like a grown woman. I did not say old lady. I mean one who pays her own bills and turns a lot of heads. There is a powdery sweetness to it that even I adore and find alluring.

Cartier Baiser Volé eau de parfum
$151 for 100mL
The key note in this fragrance is the lily, all of it. They feature the petals, the pistil and the leaves. This fragrance is a celebration of the flower’s beautiful powdery scent and its freshness.
I put it one evening to go out for dinner. I wanted something that wouldn’t overpower the meal, just a little spritz of something to feel fully put together. It did the trick.
I could still smell it on my skin the next morning. I even had a family member ask me what fragrance I was wearing that afternoon. All that to say that even on my dry skin, this had some longevity.
If you are a fan of lilies already, or are just curious about the floral note, give this a try. It certainly leans more traditionally feminine, but wear whatever you want. Personally, I will be keeping this in my rotation for those times I want smell pretty and feel sophisticated.
