Cuir Zerzura by Armani Privé, reviewed

In truth, this Cuir Zerzura from the Armani Privé line made me nervous. Based on the name alone, I knew it would have a leather note. Never in my life had I worn a leather fragrance, yet here we are… and I liked it.

There’s something sophisticated about this fragrance. Perhaps it was the mandarin and vanilla. Maybe it was the florals. I don’t know, but the blends gave me a sense I can only describe this way: “I’ll be the silent investor.” It’s rich with a quiet confidence and power.I don’t know, but the blends gave me a sense I can only describe this way: “I’ll be the silent investor.” It’s rich with a quiet confidence and power.

Armani Prive Cuir Zerzura

$315 for 100mL

Notes: Leather accord, mandarin, elemi, violet leaf accord, rose, iris cedar, vanilla

The fragrance is marketed as unisex, but I would say it leans masculine. But I assure you, I, woman that I am, will keep reaching for his. Maybe for more dressier occasions than the casualwear I tested it in. Or maybe not. It has the ability to make me feel elevated and put together, regardless of my attire.

It lasted well on my skin. After a morning application, I could smell it on my skin in the evening. With the longevity I had with this one and the scent itself, I thoroughly look forward to when I can try the rest of the Privé line. If you are interested in trying a leather fragrance give this one a try.
