Sensitive eyes? Put your eye cream on first

So, I have to admit. I was pretty harsh on my thoughts on certain eye creams. I assumed they were poorly formulated, because my sensitive eye area was stinging when I applied them. I was so glad that I found one that was gentle and worked for me, one that never gave me any of those problems. Until one day, it did. The area around my eye was stinging after I applied it. I was flabbergasted. How could you do this to me? You were so good! Then I realized that I had switched my routine that night. I had applied my serum. Then I realized I forgot to put on eye cream and then immediately applied it. When I realized that might have been my issue, I went back to the products I had put on the “does not work for me shelf” over the next couple of days. I washed my face, then applied the eye creams to clean fresh skin. And lo and behold, no stinging. The next day, no stinging.

All of this time I had been causing my own problems. So, if you for any reason have come to believe that eye creams are good for your skin because they always sting your eyes, try making sure they are they first products you apply in your routine and see if that makes a difference.
