I remember the honeysuckle bushes that used to grow around the field of my elementary school. During play times, we would stop and pull the stamens from the slower to enjoy that tiny drop of sweetness. Later, I would relish the flowers in my neighborhood as well. Perhaps us kids got carried away with our tastings. The flowers went away little by little and never bloomed again. As an adult, smelling the sweet fragrance sent me searching frantically and expectantly for those small white flowers. Now, these are the two honeysuckle fragrances I hope would bring back that sense of nostalgia.

Jo Malone Honeysuckle and Davana: $155 for 100mL
English honeysuckle is paired with a top note of licorice like davana and a base of moss to round out the sweet, honeylike character of the flower

Aerin Mediterranean Honeysuckle: $145 for 1.07 oz
An interpretation of the flower with a citrus flair. They bring in notes of bergamot, grapefruit, and mandarin for freshness and enhance the florals with gardenia, jasmine, and lily of the valley.
Being I have such fond memories of the honeysuckle, I hope these fragrances will stand up to the expectations. If you have already tried them out, I would love to know what you think.
