Nobu expands its list of hotels to Atlanta

If you are aware of the name Nobu, you likely pair it with exquisite Japanese style dining. Perhaps like me you never thought to add the word hotel. Well, after already building a collection of 30 hotels, the brand is now expanding to Atlanta. The expansion, opening in less than week in November 2022, will bring both a restaurant and hotel to the southern capital. They are even providing a special offer to those guests who are among their first reservations: A bottle of rosé.

The hotel was originally expected to open in 2020, but as you imagine, it needed to be pushed back. This is part of a $200 million expansion of Phipps Plaza, a luxury shopping center in the city. As part of the plan, there should be access to the hotel and restaurant through the mall.

With its strong roots bringing Japanese culture to the world through food, the group continues to imbue their hotels and residences with that same aesthetic. The brand refers to it as a blend of “modern cool luxury and minimal Japanese tradition.” The Atlanta location will have suite options named Sake and Momiji. And of course, the ever famous restaurant will be located in the hotel.

I have recently been getting more into learning more about hotels. I have to admit that I am very intrigued and want to learn and experience more of what they have to offer.
