Yet again, Adidas have partnered with a luxury house for a collection. This time they have joined forces with Balenciaga. The collaboration, on sale now, joins the exaggerated, oversized silhouette the luxury house has been showing recently with the trademarked trefoil and 3-stripes designs of the athletic brand. While the Adidas site only displays pieces in black and white, there are red and blue items on the Balenciaga site. Adidas, as you imagine, only shows sport forward pieces, while Balenciaga displays heels, purses, and jeans as well.
From the Adidas site, items are available at designer prices, ranging from from $335 for a water bottle to $3450 for a puffer jacket. (At that price, this water bottle is the only piece I would even dream of purchasing and then not using for fear of denting it.)
While I would absolutely love to unbox this for you and let you see the special packaging for this collection, alas, I cannot/won’t make that purchase for now.
