Experience with the Omorovicza Moor Cleansing Cream

I have had little experience with the brand, Omorovicza. I am not even sure how to pronounce it. I wasn’t exactly sure how things would go when I tried their Moor Cleansing Cream.

Following the instructions, I dampened my face. I put a pea-sized about on my fingertips, and got to work. As I moved the product around in circular motions, it felt like I was rubbing moisturizer on my face. There was no lather. It was just creamy and soothing. After rinsing, I noticed that as my skin dried, it didn’t feel tight. At all. I used it again the next day. Just as enjoyable. I was just washing off the day, so I can’t tell you if it will remove makeup well. Although, Omorovicza recommend it as a second cleanse.

Omorovicza Moor Cream Cleanser

$87 for 150mL

A purifying cleanser with Hungarian Moor Mud to regenerate the skin.

I will say it had a spa-like smell. What does that mean? I guess, that it was slightly herbal, but in a way meant to be calming. In fact, the brand describes this as an aromatic cleanser. They included eucalyptus, camphor, and peppermint essential oils for a soothing effect.

One thing that I noticed going direct to the site is that they suggest it for normal, combination, and oily skin prone to blemishes. Interesting. With my dry skin, I found I had good results. I wonder, though, if this is one of those products I would have issues with were I to use it daily. It does have chemical exfoliants to resurface the skin, which could be a bit much for my skin with continuous long term use. Maybe this would be something worked into a weekly, but not daily, routine for me.

Would I recommend? I would suggest you try it for yourself. My good experience has me curious to explore more from the brand, potentially looking more for their dry skin directed products. If I had a good experience using this product, targeted towards oily skin, I can only imagine what their more hydrating products are like.

But what do you think? Have you tried anything from this brand before? Can you confidently pronounce the name?
