So, did you know that Brad Pitt has a skincare line?

In an era where it seems a celebrity starts a skincare or beauty line every 20 seconds, it makes sense that we now have one from the man who so strongly held the title of Sexiest Man Alive. (He probably still holds on to that title in the hearts of many of his fans.) Yes, Brad Pitt has joined the club filled with A-listers who have taken their skincare and turned it into a business venture. But that assessment seems unfair. This time is different.  I present to you Le Domaine.

Pitt was inspired by the land and the produce of the Chateau Miraval winery and sought to create a sustainable. He also partnered with two research scientists. Dr. Nicolas Lévy previously worked on the issues of rapid aging in children, while Dr. Pierre-Louis Teissedre focuses on the antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties of grapes. This led to the development of proprietary ingredients from grapes that address anti-aging.

The products include a cleansing emulsion ($80), fluid cream ($310), cream ($320) and serum ($385). Interestingly, they also offer refills, but these seem to be the bottle, just without the signature oakwood cap. Does that count as a refill then?

Certainly, they hope to establish themselves in the luxury skincare category. As you might imagine, I have not tried this brand yet, but I am curious.

It is available for purchase on the Le Domaine site.

Also what do you think? And what do you think about celebrities starting skincare lines in general?
