Fresh out the gate here: 111Skin now my most favorite sheet mask brand for the simple fact that the mask itself adhered to my face. You might be thinking, “Uh yeah, that’s what they do.” Lies, that is not what face masks do. I am very used to having to go lie down somewhere to keep that mask from falling off my face. I put on the mask yesterday, set the time for 20 minutes and went about cleaning. (Not exactly the relaxing face mask experience). I was bending over. It didn’t budge. I walked around the house. It didn’t budge. It truly acted like a second skin.

There are all things I could do while wearing my mask

1. Yoga- like downward dog. It stayed on my face
2. Eat- if you chew like a delicate angel, otherwise…
3. Clean my house- that is, up walking around, vacuuming, etc
4. Get dressed
5. Walk around- generally
6. Go to the drive-thru- I didn’t. But if you must, you can do that, too.

If you are sheet mask connoisseur, you will note that is an impressive list. Like, maybe this is not mind blowing to you, but I am soooo used to having lay down as if I’m at a spa anytime I want to use a sheet mask. And you know, sometimes I’m not trying to relax, but I still want the skincare benefits. (Although, it probably is not a bad idea to lay down and take a break sometimes.)

111Skin masks are made of Bio-Cellulose. Apparently, the science behind it is based on the techniques for treating wounds and burns. It was designed to behave like a second skin and trap all of the good ingredients in your specific mask so that they penetrate your skin better. Listen (or read), I have no idea about any of that science. All I know is that whatever they did to craft the Bio-Cellulose makes it much easier for me to make a better skincare routine.
