Forgive the melodrama, but it feels like nothing is going right, so I decided to wear Lucky, one the scents in the Collection Privee by Christian Dior. How can you ignore a name and backstory like that when you’re in need of good fortune yourself. The fragrance is considered a scent talisman. It’s based on the crisp white flower Christian Dior considered a lucky charm the lily of the valley.
Even though I accidentally poured the bottle out on my arm, it still feels light and unassuming on my skin. Subtle, which to me is a reminder that even when it is not obvious that things are going well, there still needs to be a faint aroma of hope. As I got whiffs of it throughout the day, or rather inhaled with deep intent, I tried to remind myself that things would be okay.
