Confession, I had been just dealing with dry lips. I got away with blaming winter, my constant use of face coverings, my chronic dehydration, and even my unsuccessful search for the perfect lip balm. For whatever, I chalked it up to the way things were. And then I got tired of it and made an impulse purchase at Nordstrom one day. I was there looking for a completely different product when the sales advisor suggested the Patchology lip mask, as it was one of her favorite products. With a combination of a being a spendy mood and a state of pure desperation, I decided to buy a pack.

$15 for a pack of 5
Per the instructions, you take the lip shaped gel out of the pack and leave it on your lips for 5 minutes. So I, being a rule follower, did just that. The product is pretty wiggly and not at all sticky, so I just reclined and scrolled by phone for that time. I did this right before going to sleep and found my lips stayed moisturized the next day. By that I mean, for the entirety of the next day, my lips remain hydrated, beautifully moist, whereas they were disgustingly dry the day before.
Obviously, a huge pro of this product is that it works. But, the (only) con is that this is what I will refer to as a stay-still mask. It is only 5 minutes, but you can’t really do much while it works its magic or you risk it falling off.
Would I recommend? Yes, yes indeed. I don’t think I can recommend a product more. I will definitely be reviewing other products from the brand in the future. And rest assured I keep a stock of these in my beauty drawer.
