A Wren Says

When I think of Dries van Noten, I think color and interesting designs that you don’t see much else. I think of the skirt that I fell in love with that had the photorealistic print. I think of the sweater with the interesting stitching. Never before did I think beauty. Well, I guess now I should.

It seems like the line launched earlier this month and is exclusively available through Saks Fifth Avenue (if you are US based) and their own site. There are 10 scents, ranging between $280 and $305. You can also get two sampler sets, $40 dollars each, containing 5 scents from the collection. There is also a range of lipsticks, but those aren’t what I am personally most interested in.

I of course want to smell all of the scents. But also, I would like to take a moment to celebrate the beauty of these bottles. They appear to have metal cap with the brand name engraved and painted enamel on the bottle.

It seems like the kind of thing you want to leave out on your beauty counter, because of course you have a beauty counter if you bring a product this beautiful home. And if you are intrigued by sustainability, know that it comes in a compostable paper carton shaped to the bottle. I wonder if they will be refillable.
