I think it is almost a year ago now that I first came across these shoes, the Nike x Sacai Blazer Low. I loved them, but they were unattainable. I saw them there on the website, in all of their glory with sold out emblazoned on the product page. I even added them to my wish list in hopes of the site restocking. They never did, and I had to move on. Months later, I saw that the black and white pair dropped and my desire to have them was reignited and the search commenced.

Farfetch was the site where I was finally able to pin down that had the style in stock. Actually, they had multiple colorways. Some I hadn’t seen before and were equally tempting. I didn’t want to experience the pain of these selling out again, so I ordered three pairs. Maybe that was excessive (like my family thinks it was), but I told myself that I would just get them all in person and decide which one I would keep.

Fast forward to the shoes arriving, and sigh, I really wanted to hate these. At least one of the pairs, but alas I do not. They are all fire. I have here three color ways of the Nike x Sacai blazer lows: White patent leather, Kaws blue, and Kaws purple dusk.
Look: I mean do you see these things. They are eye-catching. Even the basic white is not so basic, which is why I love them. I mean if you want people asking you, “Whoa, where’d you get those?” and telling you, “cool shoes!,” They are definitely worthy. They feature this double up effect. You can see stacking of the logos, tongues and sole. It is definitely a unique look that you’re not gonna see many other people rocking.

Fit: Warning, these are skate shoes, which if you are not familiar, are notoriously narrow. Think of how Vans fit, if you have ever tried a pair. Whatever size you get in Vans and feel most comfortable in, that would probably be your best size in Blazers. Personally, I got my usual US women’s size 9/mens 7.5 that I always order in shoes. I did find it narrow for my flat/wider feet. I just really loosened the laces out to make it work. Yes, it is still a little cramped in the toe box, but I am just going to make it work for style purposes. (Even though that means committing to stretching out my feet at the end a day spent walking around in these. All in the name of style.) If I were to do it again (and it were available), I would personally go up half a size.
I highly recommend checking out all the stuff Sacai is doing with Nike, if you interested in their streetwear styling with an athletic twist. Check out what they are doing with other shoes from Nike, like the Cortez and the Vapor Waffle, as well as this jacket I have got my eye on.
