So I tried Very Good Girl by Carolina Herrera. My thoughts: It was very sweet. I am still working on training my nose, so I can’t be very nuanced. But, I can say that for me, the lychee really came through. What I will say is that it disappeared very quickly on me. Like I got dressed, sprayed it on, got in the car, and then I wondered what happened to it. Granted, it did take me a while to find my keys and I lingered a bit as I sorted all what I needed to take with me, but this thing definitely lasted maybe 2 hours. And I feel like that is a generous estimate. I tried it over the course of a few days, and each time it was a short-lived scent on me. I wish I had tried the original as a point of comparison. I don’t know if these is par for the course with other scents from the brand.
As you might imagine, I won’t be getting a full bottle of this. Not just for the performance issues, it just isn’t my vibe. I suppose if you like sweet scents, and you don’t want them to be overpowering, this might work for you. As always, you might get a different result on your skin based on your habits and body chemistry. If you are able to get a sample or nip into a store and spray some on skin, let me know what you think.
