Nike and Jacquemus paired up for what the designer referred to as “sensual” sportswear. This collaboration led to a rebirth of the Humara shoe, with natural earthy color ways. The drop also featured clothing pieces in performance fabrics.
This all went live on June 28 and pretty much immediately sold out. However, multiple sources say that it is expected to restock on July 7. Keep a look out on the Jacqumeus and Nike SNKRS App. The pieces that I am most intrigued by are below.
I feel like this pairing allows a more affordable way for consumers to wear a piece of Jacquemus. Maybe, you may have been unwilling/unable to pay over $500 for a dress, but this collaboration makes it easier to get the designer’s aesthetic on your body. Prices range from $40 for a bucket hat and $175 for a bodysuit.
I am thinking I will get myself added to the list to be notified when either the hoodie or shoes restocks. I may or may not take the plunge. Hopefully, a future edition of this collaboration is in the works.
