Tom Ford Private Blend Roses Collection

I know, I already have a post about rose fragrances, but this one is different. Right now, this is a post about the rose fragrances I really really want. I am eager to try these scents on skin. Tom Ford dropped the Private Blend Roses Collection. I am late talking about this as they have been available for a couple of months. I finally was able to smell the three new scents in store and I enjoyed them all. This collection includes three rose centered scents. Rose de Chine, Rose de Russe, and Rose di Amalfi.

Of the three new scents, Rose de Russe was my favorite. It had the depth that I liked. The associate described it as the spicier of the scents. I didn’t pick up on that. But then again, my scent vocabulary is limited to, “that smells nice.” Rose de Chine seemed light and sweeter. And Rose di Amalfi was, I suppose a refreshing rose, if that is a thing. For whatever reason, I ordered them from lightest to deepest scent this way, Rose de Chine, Rose di Amalfi, and then Rose de Russe. I only had the chance to smell strips. I am excited to smell them on skin.

The set that includes three travel sized sprayers, my favorite non-commital size. Right now it is listed for 15% off on the Nordstrom site.

I noticed that, I am starting to understand the hype about rose scents. I am officially on the bandwagon, wearing a seatbelt. If you are equally interested in expanding your repertoire of rose scents, I highly recommend you give them a try. They are available at Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Neiman Marcus in the travel size set. These stores and Sephora offers the larger sizes, as well.
