Roses are on the very small list of flowers I can identify visually. I can’t tell you exactly what they smell like, but for some reason I was convinced I didn’t like their scent. That was younger, ignorant me a year ago. I have sense had the pleasure of smelling more fragrances and trying them out for myself. Here are some of my suggestions for some rose-forward fragrances marketed towards women.
Lancome Idôle Aura
Who is walking around here smelling that good? C’est toi. It is you who smells that good.
- A fresh, floral fragrance
- With notes of both Isparta and centrifolia roses at the top, white jasmine and bergamot at the middle, and a base of salted vanilla
diptyqe L’Ombre Dans L’eau
Is she trying to still your man? No, that is certainly not her intention. She can’t help her intoxicating scent trail.
- A fruity flora fragrance
- With notes of rose, blackcurrant, and petitgrain
Aerin Rose de Grasse
She has beauty and strength. She has her life together. Yes, she can do it for herself, but you gonna open that door for her or not?
- A floral fragrance
- With top notes of a watery accord, three roses (rose centifolia, Bulgarian rose otto, rose absolute) at the mid, and a based of violet wood, ambrox, and musk
Tom Ford Rose Prick
You out here big ballin, spending big money, buying your own rings. Okay, I see you, I smell you, and you smell exquisite.
- A floral fragrance
- With notes of rose de mai, Bulgarian rose, andsichuan pepper
This is just a short list of fragrances I have enjoyed. The important caveat is that you might not enjoy them. Get yourself some samples and learn how they work with you and your body.
